Do You Want Whiter Teeth?

Almost everyone would like whiter teeth.

Today you have many options.

If you want your teeth a little whiter, you can try a whitening toothpaste or whitening rinse. Maybe some whitening strips.

However …

If you want to add “WOW” to your smile!
“It’s going to take professional whitening”.

Professional whitening is much stronger and effective than anything you can get over the counter. It has a different formulation.

What does a Teeth Whitening procedure involve?

We start with an exam and consultation.

We check to see if you have any leaky fillings or broken teeth.

We discuss your whitening options.

Do you want the “In-Office” Teeth Whitening Method or do you want the “Take Home” Teeth Whitening Method?

Both methods get great results. Both methods use whitening gels.

In-Office Teeth Whitening

The “In-Office” Teeth Whitening Method takes about an hour.

We apply a quick acting gel. You get immediate results.

It’s dramatic. It’s amazing. Most patients actually say …”WOW”!!!

Take Home Teeth Whitening

When you do the “Take Home” Teeth Whitening Method, we make thin, closely fitted mouth guards.

A mouth guard is a cover that fits over your teeth. It holds your whitening gel on top of your teeth.

With the “Take Home” method your results are slower. Usually it takes about 2 weeks to whiten your teeth.

Both methods work great.

For the very best results

We often combine the “In-Office” Teeth Whitening Method with the “Take Home” Teeth Whitening Method.

Your needs are determined at the time of your consultation.

FAQ: TeethWhitening

Will my teeth and gums become sensitive from wearing my mouthguards?

  • If your teeth and gums become sensitive, take your mouthguards out.
  • The next time wear your mouthguards for a shorter period of time.
  • If you tend to have sensitive teeth, we have great desensitizing rinses and toothpastes.

How long will I have to wear my mouthguards?

  • Most people wear their mouthguards for 1- 2 hours a day until they get the desired results. Usually it takes about 2 weeks.

Do I have to follow a special diet?

  • During the time you are whitening your teeth, you want to stay away from foods and drinks that tend to be highly staining. If you do eat or drink staining foods, rinse your mouth with water when you are done.

Is it safe?

  • Whitening products have been highly researched and studied. Millions of people have safely whiten their teeth. According to Dr. Lee Ann Brady of the Pankey Institute, using whitening gel can actually help prevent cavities.

How long will my whitening last?

  • It is hard to say. It depends on your lifestyle. Staining is caused by what you eat, what you drink and your home care. If you smoke, your teeth will definitely become stained. If you decide you want to brighten your teeth, you can purchase more whitening gel. Usually teeth brighten up very quickly after an initial whitening; But again this depends upon your lifestyle.
